Just a while after we heard that Dabangg 2 and Sher Khan had been put on hold, here’s news that another Salman Khan starrer is facing an indefinite delay.
Announced over a year ago, Sallu’s I Am Hariprasad has been put on the backburner to accommodate the actor’s other projects.
“I Am Hariprasad will not be starting until the end of next year at least,” says a source connected to the film.
“Director Prem Soni had announced the film with Salman last August. However, both of them have been quite busy with their other assignments ever since. Salman went on to deliver three blockbusters (Bodyguard, Ready and Dabangg) in the interim period while Prem has started Ishkq In Paris with Preity Zinta.”
The situation will not ease anytime soon either, as Sallu has to start Dabangg 2 and Kick once he completes Ek Tha Tiger.
Prem too has to kickstart his other project, Bombay Muumbai. But the delay has certainly not caused any bad blood between Sallu and Prem.
“Prem has a good personal equation with Salman. After Main Aur Mrs Khanna, they want to ensure that I Am Hariprasad turns out to be special. Neither wants to do a rush job,” our source adds.
